I have some new items in my Etsy store! Yay! Make sure you jump on over and have a look, I had so much fun making these two new items! and even more fun naming them! hehehe
The green sweetpea scarf is made using some of the Quince & co wool I purchased a few weeks back, it is so lovely to knit with and the finished scarf is bright and warm. The glow cowl is made with Spud and Chloe 65% wool and 35% organic cotton, it is sooooo soft! Spud and Chloe is by Blue Sky Alpacas which is another one of my favorite yarns to buy and use!
Here is a peek...
It was a nice sunny morning in Toronto city when we took these photographs!
The weather is just perfect for scarfs and cowls in Toronto at the moment. It is also coat time for Toronto dogs! I love to see them keeping warm too!
I have also recently been working away on a crochet project for the daughter of one of my very best friends. 1st Birthdays are important things and we are so sad that we won't be in New Zealand to celebrate it with them. I will share the project with you on my next blog post, I should have it finished, wrapped up and sent across the ocean by then!

A Quince&co parcel!
Yesterday I received a parcel in the post from Quince&co. I ordered some new yarn last week and have been waiting waiting waiting for my parcel to arrive! It took me a long time, several days, to choose which colors I was going to order. I ended up with Carries Yellow and Snap Pea in Lark and Apricot and Pomegranate in Puffin. I was very happy with my color choice when they arrived yesterday, they are all beautiful! I feel that I have a slight Autumn/Fall theme going on. I didn't intend to have a theme when choosing the colors but it fits with what is happening around me in nature at the moment.
As soon as I opened my parcel of yarn I started to crochet, I am working on a simple scarf project in Snap Pea at the moment, I have included a few photos for you! I hope you like it!
One more photo for you! You can really see the texture of the puffin yarn in this photo, it is lovely to knit and crochet with.
